Eight Missing after Ship Collision off Tokyo Bay (Japan)

The Panamanian-flagged Beagle III sank just off Tokyo Bay yesterday following a collision with South Korean-registered Pegasus Prime.
Eight out of twenty crew members from the sunken ship, all Chinese nationals, are still missing after the accident, the local coastguard stated. One crew member of the remaining twelve that have been saved is said to have been seriously injured.
Nobody was injured on the other ship.
Japanese Coast Guard has sent nineteen patrol vessels and 2 helicopters to the scene to look for the missing people.
The cause of the collision is still unknown. Japan's Transportation Safety Board has initiated an investigation into the accident.
